Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman lead Australian celebrities voting in the US election...


Australian celebrities are not missing the opportunity to have their say on who should claim the US presidency as the 2016 election finally comes to a head. 

As presidential candidates Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump eagerly await the results of the long-winded US election, models, actors and singers have taken to social media to encourage their fans to hit the polling booths. 

Celebrities like actor Hugh Sheridan, outspoken feminist Caitlin Stasey and actress Pia Miller have thrown their support behind the Democratic leader, while the Republican nominee doesn't appear to be faring well with Aussies in the public eye. 

Dual US and Australian citizens Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban posted a proud photo to Instagram proclaiming they had visited the polling booths on Wednesday but were one of the few celebrities who did not reveal which presidential candidate won their vote.
